Megan is a "Human Performance Scientist", specializing in biomechanics of human movement as applied to strength and conditioning practices. Her research identifies how muscles contribute during exercise, as well as limiting muscles (i.e. weaknesses) that should be addressed in training. She received her PhD in Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa (2016), an MSc in Physical Education and Recreation from the University of Alberta (2011) and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (C.S.C.S.) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).

Her personal training background includes working with competitive athletes to improve sport specific performance, with general population to improve fitness and body composition, as well as experience in physio-mediated personal training to restore muscle function safely and prevent further injury in referred patients suffering from lower back, hip and knee pain. Her own previous experience as a nationally/internationally competitive powerlifter as well as Figure competitor (bodybuilding) has further added to Megan's practical understanding of training methodologies.

Amy has been passionate about fitness for most of her life. She’s been a runner, a bodybuilder, a yogi, and even occasionally, a burlesque dancer. Her primary area of interest is helping women learn and grow confident through strength training. 

In her life before children, Amy earned degrees in both psychology and education. Before starting a career as a personal trainer, Amy was a teacher and brings her passion for teaching into the gym. She holds current certifications as a Personal Training Specialist, Pre and Post Natal Fitness Specialist, as well as CPR/AED training. She is also certified to teach the Hypopressive technique (Level 1 and Level 2).

As a mother of two small children, Amy has a wealth of personal experience in postpartum rehabilitation. She is passionate about helping everyone live a life rich in fitness and movement, with a particular interest in helping women rebuild and grow stronger after having children. Her favourite part of training others is when she sees a client approach the dumbbell rack with total self-assurance. Lifelong fitness and function are attainable through safe, fun, and effective exercise! See you at the studio!

Selena has been an Exercise Physiologist and Kinesiologist for over fifteen years. She started her work with exceptional children working in respite care providing occupational and physiotherapy supports in homes for families and then really started to refine her work with the Canadian Armed Forces as their Physcial Exercise Specialist.  
She has continued her work and studies as a Registered Yoga Instructor with Yoga Alliance, specializing in Vinyasa Flow, children's yoga, pre and postnatal yoga and components of ayurvedic and holistic nutrition. Ongoing ventures in Budokon yoga and kettlebell functional/ primal movements. 

She is a mother and nature lover who loves to run, hike and paddle board wherever and whenever she can. Movement and training is the therapy that keeps her life balanced and wholesome.

Owner and certified personal trainer

Christina has always been passionate about physical activity. She started working in the fitness industry after she realized that a desk job in the mechanical engineering field was just not for her. She has been helping her clients reach their fitness goals ever since, guiding them to a healthier way of life since 2008. 

She has her current certifications as a Personal Training Specialist as well as a Pre & Postnatal Fitness Specialist with nationally recognized institutions, as well as CPR/AED training. She has taken many continuing education courses to keep up to date with new training techniques and equipment, such as TRX suspension training (if you have never used a TRX before, you have to try it!), Russian kettlebell training, Fitness assessments, Post rehab recovery (shoulder, knee, spine, hip), Stretching and Foam roller techniques, etc. She is also certified to teach the Hypopressive technique (Level 1 and Level 2), a revolutionary new way to train the core. Christina is always striving to learn and develop new ways to challenge her clients, using the most cutting-edge techniques to develop fun and effective training programs.

As a busy mom of 3 beautiful daughters, she has first-hand experience with pre and post-natal training. Life with kids is busy and challenging, but staying healthy and fit is the best gift a mother could give to her children. Christina will give you the tools you need to be the healthiest parent you can be.
